API Usage Agreement

Every API key is issued under these terms. You accept them when you generate a key in your account settings.

1. Your own boats; the public catalogue through the Discovery API. An API key reads the boats, pricing, fees and availability of the companies your account belongs to. To show or sell other operators' boats, use the Discovery API (/api/ai/*): it gives the prices guests pay on charter.boats, and its links send buyers to charter.boats. You may not redistribute, resell, or repurpose charter.boats data outside of applications that integrate directly with charter.boats.
2. Attribution required. Any application, website, or service that displays data from this API must make it clear to end users that the information is sourced from Charter Boats (charter.boats).
3. Terms of Service apply. Use of the API is subject to our Terms of Service. We may revoke API access at any time for violations of these terms.
4. Daily limits. Each key has a daily request budget and a burst limit, shown in your API settings once you have a key — see Rate limits. Need more? Contact us.

By generating a key you confirm that your use of the Charter Boats API is limited to charter.boats integrations, and that end users of your application will be clearly informed they are accessing charter.boats data.

Changes to these terms

Any change to these terms moves the date above. A material change is also emailed to everyone who holds an API key. Continuing to use the API after a change means you accept it.
